Leslie now lives in Interlocken, Michigan with her husband Chris and four children.
She was born in Fort Tucker Alabama and was for a time a typical "Army brat"
She has not only attended college but she was a graduate of the Police academy and joined the Grand Traverse Co. Sheriff reserves. You don't mess with this girl.
Quick,intelligent, good-looks all are some of Leslie's attributes. In addition she is one hell of a poker player, coming from a poker playing family.
Her Grandfather (Wm. Politt) subsidized his income playing poker and took first place at the World Championship of Poker at the Soaring Eagle casino and also played in the 1999 Tournament of Champions in New Orleans,at the age of 81. He not only played in the tournament but came in 24th knocking out Phil Helmuth. When Bill was finally eliminated Doyle Brunson led a standing ovation for him.
So you see my friends,Leslie comes from a long line of players. I personally have played against her and she is a very formidable opponent. In addition to playing poker she is a very successful business woman owning with her husband a carpet cleaning company and is an avid outdoors woman. She was told seven years ago when she was in a horrific car accident that she would not ever walk again but being the person she is ,she proved them wrong and now enjoys complete mobility.
When this lady sets her mind on something including winning at poker, WATCH OUT!
