He has both a college education and intensive technical training for  he is actually a marine captain  having a Master designation for steam,motor and sailing vessels.  He is also a retired police officer having served at the Grand Traverse county Sheriff's office with distinction.

He plays both poker on-line and table games and is also a skilled craps shooter. He recently won a $10,000 package to play in Arruba from Ultimate bet and tells me it was the trip of a lifetime.

The Captain plays all over the country,time permitting, and his home table is at the Leelanau Sands in Michigan.

His funniest poker story is : He was at the final table in a tournament in the big blind with a dead small blind . Everyone folds and he had poket Aces. This not only happened once but twice. 
His aim is to get good enough to win and play in a major event.
