He is the father of four and has ten grandkids

Besides Poker he is a specialist in Automation controls which I think is why he is such a good intuitive poker player

He plays blackjack but his first love is poker, both tournament and no limit holdem He has played in various venues including Vegas and Reno but his home table is the Leelanau Sands near beautiful Northport his home.

Sherlockk has won his fair share of tournaments and his only complaint is when the Rules are interpreted differently by different dealers and when the tournaments are poorly run.

His lucky table charm is a "3" leaf clover and as Sherlock says "sometimes a "4" leaf clover

His favorite table location is Seat 2 or 9 . He feels he can see the table better from there.

I asked "Sherlock" for his favorite poker story and since I was directly involved in it, I will tell it here. "Sherlock" was on fire. He had every chip in the tournament of about 70 people and here we were at the final table. "Sherlock' and the "Gator'  I had only enough chips to make the small blind of $3000 and of course "Sherlock had me all in. His hand was dominant but somehow I pulled out a win. Now I had enough for my big blind and once again  "Sherlock " put me all in. Again he had the best hand but I sucked out to win again.

The Third time "Sherlock" put me all in again and once again I took down the hand. Now for the fourth time  "Sherlock" went all in and I called him and took the hand. Talk about bad beats. "Sherlock" and I both were astonished at this result. I was so happy to have gotten to heads-up and fully expected to last maybe one hand, but such are the vagaries of poker. And that is why we all love the game.

And as far as the game goes, there is no better representative of it than my friend "Sherlock"
